Botanic House in Woodend

What a beautiful property. Well appointed and clean. Perfect location to get ready for our daughters wedding at the nearby winery.

Perfect two day stay which enhanced our time in Woodend Positive: A beautifully appointed home which had a thoughtful welcome pack on our arrival. The accommodation provided a very central but tranquil base for our short stay in Woodend and is easily located. Would highly recommend if you are seeking a superior stay in settings reminiscent of yesteryears but having modern high quality fittings and a wonderful eclectic decor. Negative: Not really a dislike, but the light in the bathroom proved impossible to turn off on our first night and we had a bit of a chuckle when we realized it was a sensor light!!

The house is truly outstanding in every possible way. Exceptionally comfortable, extremely well equipped with absolutely everything one could want. Excellent communications from the owner. Holiday rentals don’t come any better. Quiet (thanks to double glazing) and perfectly located to explore Woodend and the surrounding beautiful country side.

Positive: Everything but the host - he was rude and patronising and the cleaning lady entered the house before we returned and took our stuff out 10 minutes after 10am.... Negative: The people managing the property were very rude and entered the house before we checked out - to clean the property. I will never book this property again.

The stay in this accommodation was very good the amenities were fantastic everything you could possibly require was provided. A short walk to town. The host was very friendly and discreet. The entertainment provided was generous Netflix, Stan and others. The beds were great and the whole place was very clean. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.
